1. Business Incubation Center
EDC has its own incubation Center in the University premises where office space along with mentoring of the nascent entrepreneurs is conducted. Along with this Incubation Center and to promote Technopreneurship EDC avails the incubation facilities of Technology Incubation Center UET Peshawar.

The Technology and business Incubation centre is a collaboration of UET, IM|Sciences and other allied institutions i.e. SMEDA, Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Association all other national and international incubation centers will contribute financial resources or support to promote business and accelerate the local economy.

2. Networking & Linkages:
In networking and linkages emerging entrepreneurs is introduced with successful businessmen, invited as guest speakers, who share their success stories with the upcoming talent. Under networking and linkages, the program coordinator through his/her staff members conduct seminars /conferences and idea generation activities related to entrepreneurship and
National & International Linkages
- Sarhad Chamber of Commerce
- SMEDA.
- Linking the centre with National and international Centers for entrepreneurship e.g. TiE, GEW
- Financial Institutions
In Research and development creative work is undertaken on a systematic basis in order to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge about people, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to introduce innovative and cost effective ways of increasing business inflow.
The Research & Development function at EDC intends to be rigorously engage in different research and development activities of enterprise development in the region. Research areas aim at improving the current entrepreneurial activities in the FATA, PATA, rural and local region in and around KPK. It, also, strives to identify viable business ideas and potential resources which could be exploited to further the objectives of enterprise Development in the region.
4. Enterprise Training & Development
Entrepreneurship Development Centre has been playing a healthy role in the training and development of people from the rural areas. Entrepreneurship Development Centre has been providing some basic skills to the women in the society through which they could earn a living. EDC provided business incubators to the young entrepreneurs in the society and encouraged entrepreneurship. Currently, proposals have been put up with Fata Development Authority, GIZ and other donor agencies to lift the small and medium enterprises in FATA and various parts of KPK.
5. Entrepreneurship Education
The Center wants to contribute to the discipline of entrepreneurship in the following ways
- Short Certificate Courses
- Diploma in Entrepreneurship and related subjects
- Masters in Entrepreneurship
- Honors leading masters and PhD level
- Curriculum development for school, colleges and universities
- Introducing entrepreneurship as a discipline in different Universities
- Customize Training Programs quarterly
- Summer schools annually
- School and colleges workshops on entrepreneurship quarterly
- Short trainings on entrepreneurship related topics
- Working on the establishment of Entrepreneurship University.
- Correspondence courses on entrepreneurship for distance learning (Certificate, Diploma, Masters and need base education for service seekers)
